We recommend you consider a Christian education for your child. Many
parents have looked at and chosen a Christian school alternative for their
child realizing the growing need for a quality and safe education.
There are many reasons why parents choose Christian education over public schools.
We exist primarily to teach children about God as He is revealed in the Bible. We
are committed to offering children solid academic instructions. Our children get
only one opportunity for formal education and it must be right the first time.
We believe very strongly in maintaining high academic goals at each grade level.
Lighthouse Christian Academy
Lighthouse Christian Academy offers a well-disciplined classroom atmosphere,
balanced with a loving environment where each child receives nurturing from a
dedicated Christian teacher. Because children are a a heritage of the Lord,
we see each child as a special gift from God. It is our desire to provide
children with a quality education that is Christ-centered and Biblically foundational.

the spiritual, academic, and physical training children require in preparation for their future.
SPIRITUAL AWARENESS
The chief reason for the creation of man was to glorify God. For this purpose to
be realized there must be preparation. Training must begin with children, and
children must be taught that they have a responsibility to God and man. They
should become citizens of the household of God and conduct themselves as good
citizens of that household. This occurs with a common sense and practical
approach to the Bible and its teachings. All students are taught a planned
program of Bible study each day and attend Chapel programs weekly to hear a
message from the Word of God. Bible study and Bible memory work are required
of each child who attends Lighthouse
Christian Academy
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Our academic program is based on mastery of the fundamental elements of the various areas
of study. We believe the student’s education, in the final analysis, must be measured
largely by his ability to reason intelligently, read understandingly, compute
accurately, write legibly and spell correctly. Lighthouse Christian Academy
Academy uses primarily, one of the nation’s leading Christian curriculum available: ABEKA Book, from Pensacola, Florida. This program are complemented with Bob Jones and Positive Action for Christ curriculums LCA is accredited with the Alabama Independent
School Association (SACS/CASI).
BOOK FEES
The necessary books for grades will vary. Call the Secretary at 271-4200 to
find out the price of your child’s books. Parents may purchase the needed
books in the bookstore.

TUITION
It is our purpose to provide Christian education within the reach of the
average family. Tuition may be paid in full, biannually or on a 10-month
payment schedule. We also offer a second child discount for first grade and
up.
